How I Test

Every piece of gear on this site went through the actual garage in Cincinnati. I bought it, set it up, used it across real sessions, and either kept it or returned it. No unboxing-only coverage, no borrowed gear, no range evaluations. Minimum thirty days of actual use before a full writeup goes up. Shorter evaluations don't produce the kind of information worth publishing.

Returns Are in the Record

Two mats went back. An early net went back. None of these are buried. The writeups explain specifically what went wrong: dimensions that didn't fit the space, a surface that degraded on concrete after a month, a product that behaved differently from what the product page implied. That specific information is often more useful than another positive review from someone who kept something.

Affiliate Relationships

Some links here are affiliate links. Click one, buy the thing, I get a small cut, at no extra cost to you. The commission doesn't shape what gets covered. Affiliate links have stayed live on pages covering gear I returned, because the honest account of the return is what matters. If something doesn't work for a suburban two-car setup, the review says so directly.

Scope

Suburban Cincinnati, two-car garage, low ceiling, 14 handicap, hobbyist budget with a hard cap enforced by someone else in the household. The perspective here is a working build with real constraints. Tour-level hardware and elite simulator equipment are outside what I cover. Use this as input from someone who built and lives with this setup, not an industry review site.
