How I Test

Every product on this site was purchased, installed in the actual garage in Cincinnati, and used across a minimum of thirty real sessions before a full writeup went up. Real sessions mean a round on E6 Connect or a practice block with club tracking active on the SkyTrak, not a five-minute unbox and a few swings. Thirty days catches what a shorter window won't: mat surface degradation at the leading edge after repeated contact on a concrete subfloor, projector fan cycling louder once the room warms past around 68 degrees, an impact screen seam pulling at the grommets after weeks of driver contact. Writeups that don't clear that threshold stay unpublished until they do.

Returns Are in the Record

Two mats went back to the retailer. An early net went back. All three return writeups are still live and say exactly what failed: the first mat's surface degraded on concrete faster than the product page implied, a seam placement on the second threw off tee position at the edges after the mat shifted, the net billowed into the projector beam at full swing speed and distorted the image. That specificity is more useful to someone building a similar setup than a clean recommendation from someone who kept the product. Affiliate links stay live on return pages because the honest return account is what matters.

Scope

All coverage here is calibrated for one setup: suburban Cincinnati, two-car garage, 19 feet of depth from ball position to back wall, 8-foot LED shop light overhead, poured concrete floor. The spending ceiling is real and enforced by someone else in the household through December 2026. Tour-level equipment and commercial simulator builds fall outside that scope and don't get covered.
